I'm Phil Elson - I help people live more

Me

My name is Phil Elson and I help people live more - I believe people deserve to live more, with healthier lives, less stress, fulfilling work, and more time for what truly matters to them.

What drives me is simple: a desire to help people, that comes from the person I am and my own experience of poor health and the challenges it brought. I went from being overweight and sluggish to becoming energetic and focused, and now I want to help others live more and avoid the struggles I went through.

Drawing on my background as an Architect, a Software Engineer with over 16 years of experience, my MBA, a BSc in Software Engineering Management, and insights from behavioural science, psychology, and evolution, I work with organisations to make the lives of their employees and customers healthier and less stressful.

My aim is to help people gain more time for what truly matters, by reducing the frustration of products and services that don't serve their needs. The result is happier customers and employees, which in turn drives loyalty, lowers churn and recruitment costs, and strengthens the bottom line.

Me overweight, joint pain, unmotivated

My boy and me in my darker days - overweight, chronic joint pain, lathargic, unmotivated and trying to keep that spark of hope alive

Entrepreneur

I've built and experimented with ventures of all shapes and sizes. Together with Debbie, I co-founded Key-Master (opens in new tab), developing innovative solutions that bring safety and simplicity to families. I'm also a partner and Technical Director at UXO Specialist LTD (opens in new tab), where we reduce the risk from unexploded ordnance in the construction industry.

Along the way, I've experienced both wins and setbacks, from Unleash Enterprises LTD (a manufacturing training venture that fell to competing commitments), to Urplot LTD (a pre-Shopify concept built with fellow founders) where equity disagreements and therefore a loss of passion brought things to a close. These lessons have been just as valuable as the successes—shaping how I think, work, and lead.

Today, I spend 2-3 days a week running my businesses and 2-3 days doing helping other organisations unlock innovation and create people-focused solutions that allow employees and customers to live more.

Personally, I'm a husband to Debbie and dad to our Lab, Brody. I'm a health evangelist, continually learning and sharing how we can live healthier, longer lives.
