Foundations of Health
Nu trition
Nutrition from whole, real foods provides essential building blocks that support muscle repair and allows our bodies to function properly, reducing the risk of chronic disease and enhancing longevity.
Exercise
By exercising our cardiovascular system, our cognition, and building both strength and stability, we not only enhance our longevity but also reduce the risk of chronic disease and injury.
Sleep
Sleep is a time when we're vulnerable, so why hasn't evolution removed it from humans and other animals? The reason is because it's essential to health and longevity and we're starting to realise it.
Mortar of Health
Discipline
Discipline is the consistent practice of behaviors and habits aligned with long-term goals, often built through routine and structure.
In order to maintain the foundations and support the pillars, mortar is used to bind everything together. Discipline and willpower is our mortar, without it our health crumbles. We need Discipline/willpower not to survive due to lack of abundance and convenience like our Ancestors, but because of it.
Willpower
Willpower is the ability to exert self-control in the moment, resisting immediate impulses or temptations to achieve a specific goal or outcome.
